Building new business in USA - Woodmade Inc.
Here it is the country of great opportunities - The United States of America. After a month of traveling to different states and cities we decide to settle down in Houston, Texas. Warm and very hot Houston. As I heard at local radio somebody told great truth about weather conditions of Houston: "We have got two seasons of year here in Houston. it's summer and almost summer". After we arrived to Houston and solved all problems with home and cars cause, if somebody don't know you just can't leave here in Houston without car, here is almost no public transportation. I just began to had some rest but, as I am active person couldn't stay without work for long time and began to market research. After a while I realize that because of very hot weather conditions there is almost nobody is in the streets during day. Those who has job are at their job and those who doesn't has it are at Malls.
Malls of Houston - they are second home for most of Houstonians during day. In that Malls people are hiding from inexorable sun and spend their all free time with family, friends and acquaintances. Therefore, it's always customers that are buying something from stores and we have huge money turnover there.
After that conclusion I began to think about right product. As I told above there is very huge buying potential in Houston Malls and of course local entrepreneurs are making everything that people of Houston could find any product that will interest them and make them spend money. So, most important and difficult point for me was finding right product to sell. After couple weeks of active seeking and thinking I realized that if everybody find products in Chine and ship it here we mustn't do same thing, we must make our own manufacturing of local USA brand product.
People of America are love all organic and handmade. That's why I decide to open Woodmade Inc. This is local, Houston, Texas based company that manufacturers production from wood. We bought laser engrave machine, open a warehouse and began to manufacture products. After first production line was ready we began to organize online sales channels and soon I decide to open a shop for direct sale in one of the central and most crowd Mall of Houston Memorial City Mall. That's all that I wanted to share with you for today but, I'll keep you up to date about future development process of our business. Because, I have very long-term plans about that. I'm thinking now for perspectives of business expanding to other states and cities and of course to the rest of the world as USA based brand.
